Replacing Toner Cartridge
DO NOT replace your toner within your device when you receive a message on the machine that your toner level is at 20% or lower. ONLY replace the toner in your machine when a message appears on your device directing you to replace the toner at this time. Replacing the toner before its completely empty will throw-off the calibration of your machine and will effect when the system will dispatch replacement supplies.
- NOTE: The Key Device Contact will receive a generic email from the Xerox system notifying them replacement supplies has been shipped. It usually takes 3-5 days to be received.
- NOTE: If you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have a spare toner on hand and you run out before the replacement toner is received, please contact UF Procurement Services asap and we’ll try make the necessary arrangements to get you an emergency supplies to you right away.
- NOTE: The Key Device Contact (KDC) should always keep one (1) set of spare toner supplies for each PrintSmart device they manage. To order additional supplies, simply call the PrintSmart help Desk at 1-800-226-6482 or via the PrintSmart Web Portal.
